Body Mass Index (BMI)

BMI is one of the method to know whether your body weight is withing healthy weight range. BMI does not differentiate between body fat and muscle mass. This means there are some exceptions to the BMI guidelines.

BMI may not give correct measure for children up to 18, pregnant women, person with higher body mass and certain ethnic backgrounds.
